Unit 1, Day 5

Agenda

1. Warm-up: Spot the Bug — a program that cannot find its own data file
2. Set your workspace up properly: Organizing Your Files — folders made today, on your own machine
3. Then protect it: Backing Up Your Work — three copies, and the first one made before you leave
4. Prove it: close everything, then find Tuesday’s program in under ten seconds without searching

Things to do before our next class

• Finish the folder structure and make the second copy.
• Bring the name of somebody who might need a computer — you will interview them next week.
